We loved seeing so many parents at our 6th grade information night tonight. Our 6th graders are already rockin' middle school! Ca-Caw!

We had a special visitor this morning! Thanks to the new TXB convenience store on the corner of PGA and Preston for delivering goody bags for all of our staff members!

One of our favorite spots in the school - the Hays Library - is now open each day for student use! Book check-out, games, make-and-take ... there's something for everyone, so if the "open" sign is on, come on in!

On Friday, our 7th grade off-season athletes were introduced to the weight room routine so that everyone is prepared to use it safely and productively. The grind starts Monday! 💪💪

Student leadership in action! This morning while students were waiting for school to start, several NJHS members volunteered in the small gym to answer questions from 6th graders as they finish their first week of middle school. We love these connections!

After a week of camp, our Hays Band is ready to rock this year!

It was a great day of learning at Prosper Connects! We had LOTS of Hays teachers in attendance. Special shout-out to our teachers who presented and shared their expertise with others across the district!

Hawk Camp! This morning our counseling team, with spirited assistance from NJHS students and Hays cheerleaders, hosted a session for new-to-Proser ISD Hawk families. Parents and students learned about daily life at Hays, and got to spend some time exploring the building!

We got to welcome our new-to-Hays teachers to campus this morning! This is a group of exemplary educators and we can't wait to watch them make their mark here. Ca-caw!

Today's luncheon celebrating our Year One teachers was such a fun way to kick off the year. We're proud to have Coach Williams, Coach Burns, and Ms. Salas beginning their teaching careers at Hays!

Summer cleaning is nearly complete, and our building is starting to come to life again as staff prepares for the new year. We can't wait to see all of our Hawks back on campus soon!
