Save the dates for upcoming STAAR tests! As a reminder, on these dates, our campus will be closed to visitors. Students should bring their charged Chromebook, a snack and water bottle, and lunch with them to school. Lunch times may be adjusted due to testing. Thursday, 4/17 and 4/24, will be 8-period days rather than block schedule.
Before spring break, our Theatre Productions class had the opportunity to visit the Wicked Exhibit and the Disney Heroes & Villains Exhibit at the Arlington Museum of Art. It was so so so cool!

Thank you to Coach Arnold! She recently made it a priority to get our Health Science students CPR certified. They are the first middle schoolers in the district with this important and life-saving certification!
🌺Art in bloom ... our Art 2 students used crepe paper to design a spring floral installation near our front doors for everyone to enjoy. Meanwhile, 6th grade artists are creating paper mache "big heads". We love the creativity and the way it contributes to our campus culture!

Our first track meet of the season was a huge success! We had several athletes place in their events, including three athletes who broke school records.

👟Sa'Niya W. set a new girls' 200M dash record with a time of 26.87
👟Drake C. broke the boys' 110M hurdles record with a time of 17.18

Congratulations to our Concert Band I students who earned UIL Sweepstakes today! They earned unanimous First Division ratings from all six of their judges. We are very proud of their hard work and thankful for the dedication of their director, Ms. Pritchett!
