The Hays Jazz Band had a great time at the TCU Jazz Festival today! They performed, enjoyed lunch at Dutch's, and attended a clinic by world famous trombonist, Wycliffe Gordon ... AND they are bringing a 1st place trophy back to Hays!🏆

It was a successful day at the Collin County Court House for our Mock Trial teams! Of the 26 teams that competed today, four advance to tomorrow's final ... and for the first time ever, one of those teams is from Hays! We are proud of the time and effort these students have dedicated to preparing for the competition. Special congrats to our students who won individual awards:

Please dress students warmly with coats, hats, and gloves - especially important for bus riders and walkers! 🧤🧣Buses will run on regular schedules, though minor delays may occur as drivers navigate cautiously. ⏱️🚌Thank you for your patience as we prioritize student safety during these cold conditions!
