We've got spirit, yes we do! 🎅❄️🎄🕎

Our 7th grade scientists are doing a great job with their frog dissections this week. If you have a 7th grader, be sure to ask him or her about this hands-on lab!

Congratulations to our hard-working, kind, and dedicated Athletes of the Month: Quadir, Ema, Kuytai, and Sienna!

📢 Reminder! 🗓️
✨ Friday, December 20 is an Early Release Day ⏰ for all Prosper ISD campuses! 🏫✨#prosperproud

Let's hear it for our Basketball Teachers of the Week ... supporting our students from the court to the classroom to the band hall ... any everywhere in between!

Yesterday our staff had fun playing "Reindeer Games" in the counseling office. Competition was had, laughter was heard, and prizes were won ... work hard, play hard!

➡️Save the dates: course selection for 2025-2026 will be happening soon!

Students in Mr. Fletcher's classes had the opportunity to hear from former Hays Hawks and current Rock Hill Seniors about GT courses and experiences in high school. What a great way to get a little glimpse of the path ahead!

Special thanks to the owner of Duino Coffee, who is also a Hays parent, for bringing a delicious assortment of coffees for our office team this morning! What a great way to start the week!

On Tuesday, December 10, Prosper High School hosted the amazing 3rd Annual Prosper ISD Parasports Day! 🏅Organized by the Prosper ISD Special Education Motor Team with support from the Region 10 Education Service Center, this event brought together 60 students from 7 districts, along with their families, staff, and volunteers, to enjoy a day full of adapted sports. It was a day filled with teamwork, inclusivity, and fun! #prosperproud

We have one week of school before winter break. Show your spirit this week by participating in Student Council's holiday dress up days! 🎄❄️🎅🕎

Some of our 8th grade band members had the opportunity to spread holiday cheer around town today! They performed at the PISD Administration Building and also made a special stop at Legend of McKinney Assisted Living to play holiday music and deliver small gifts to the residents.

It was a good day for our Hays Fine Arts programs! Band, Choir, and Orchestra visited our elementary feeder schools to perform for the 5th graders and give them a little taste of what they can look forward to next year!

Four of our outstanding 8th graders, Arjun, Ryder, Julia, and Kailey, participated in a student panel at N2 Learning's Teacher Leader Institute. They spoke about their school experiences and offered valuable insights to teacher leaders and administrators from across PISD!

Our December Star Polishers are total rockstars! Congratulations to Mr. Acevedo, CTE teacher, and Ms. Bushra, Life Skills aide. 🌟

Our elective classes have so much to offer our students! Whether honing a talent or discovering something new they enjoy, electives allow our Hawks to let loose and get creative. Today it was "human foosball" in PE and "plush mallows" in art. What's not to love?!

The hard work and dedication of our basketball Teachers of the Week does not go unnoticed, and we're so glad to have them supporting our student-athletes each day!

"Smiling's my favorite!" Our staff had the best time smiling and being silly with Buddy the Elf today!

🔬🕵️♀️ Dr. Ballou’s Forensic Science class took a hair-raising dive into crime scene investigation thanks to a grant from the Prosper Education Foundation! 🎉✨Students used microscopes, slides, tweezers, and lab tools 🧪🔍 to analyze medullas, cortexes, and cuticles in human and animal hair 🧑🎤🐾—solving mysteries with real-world forensic techniques! 💡Huge thanks to PEF for making this hands-on experience possible. 👏#prosperproud
