Students may use their meal accounts or cash for payment (please note, we will not be giving change, and any cash sent with students will be deposited into their accounts, just like in the cafeteria).
🌺Make the day extra fun by attending the Spring Dance later that evening! Tickets are on a sale this week and next during lunches.

It was a strong end to the track season for our athletes with several school records broken and district champion honors earned. Way to go, Hawks!
We had several artists compete at JR VASE last weekend; 16 students earned a score of '4', which is the highest rating awarded to a student's artwork. Additionally, two students received a Platinum medal, which is awarded to the top 10% of students and represents the highest honor a middle school artist can achieve in the event. Congratulations!🎨

🎷🎺Over the weekend, our 8th grade band students attended "Hype Day" at Rock Hill. Meanwhile, our beginner band students participated in their first solo contest. We're excited for all of these musicians as they continue their band journey!

On Friday, Hays' yearbook class visited the big city! They walked the Trinity Skyline trail, which provided photo opportunities of both the natural world in the Trinity River basin as well as urban scenes like the Dallas skyline and the Helen Hunt Hill Bridge. Afterwards, they went to the Photos Do Not Bend gallery in the design district, which will move to the Denton square over the summer. There, they viewed an exhibition featuring some of the top artists that have worked with the gallery in its 30 years at its current location. Students enjoyed the cultural trek and hope to share some of their work soon.
