The Hays Jazz Band had a great time at the TCU Jazz Festival today! They performed, enjoyed lunch at Dutch's, and attended a clinic by world famous trombonist, Wycliffe Gordon ... AND they are bringing a 1st place trophy back to Hays!🏆

Let's hear it for Coach Rigney ... PISD Coach of the Month! Ca-Caw!

The 89th Legislative Session is happening now. You can find Prosper ISD's legislative priorities at https://www.prosper-isd.net/page/legislative-priorities, and we'll be highlighting them in our Hays newsletter as well. We encourage you to stay informed!

"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood." -Mr. Rogers
Today Ms. McCormick's 8th graders get to play AND practice using their critical thinking and communication skills!

Our Jazz Band was impressive tonight on the Rock Hill stage! If you missed this performance, you have an opportunity to see them on Saturday at the TCU Jazz Festival in Fort Worth. They perform at TCU in PepsiCo Recital Hall at 9:30 a.m. We know they'll make us proud!

We love it when our teachers lead learning for one another. Great things are happening at Hays!
