We were incredibly honored to have a special guest on Friday at our Gold Out Pep Rally. Ricky, who is undergoing cancer treatments, and his family, took time to say thank you to our Student Council and the student body for their generosity and partnership with the American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO).
Over the past two years, in recognition of Childhood Cancer month in October our WGHS Families and Staff have donated over $5000 to the ACCO and this money has directly benefited kids like Ricky.
We truly appreciate them taking a moment to stop by and say thank you. We are looking forward to continuing our support of them as well as the several other families within our own community who battle this horrible disease each day.
