Boyer Elementary

We can't wait for our “A World Within Our Walls” Heritage Night on January 29th from 5:30-6:30 pm. We would love to have many different states and countries represented. We will have displays, crafts, food, and music. We would love to have representation from many of our families so we can showcase our diverse and amazing cultures here at Boyer.
Please see the guidelines below.
Displays: Families will need to provide trifold or poster boards to display their state/country information. You can also include artifacts. Boyer will provide a table. You may want to bring a table cloth or whatever decor you would like to share. You can show some historical landmarks, events, food and entertainment that can be found in your state or country.
Crafts: Families will provide all materials needed for crafts. Please be sure to keep it simple for our younger learners to participate. Please plan enough materials for 200 people.
Food: Please display the ingredients for those with allergies. You may want to include a copy of the recipe! You will need to bring your own extension cord. We recommend bite-sized servings for 200 people.

Winter break is almost here! 🎉 School will be out from December 22 through January 5 . Enjoy the time off with your loved ones, and we will see you in the new year.

Our Winter Parties are Friday! Make sure to send in a wrapped card game with your student for the fun card game exchange by tomorrow!

It's our last week of school before the winter break! Don't forget, tomorrow is reindeer day!

Phonics work is always more fun with a partner or two. Third graders in Mrs. McClung’s class played games to increase their r-controlled vowel knowledge and fluency!

McDonalds Spirit Night is today from 5-8!

Boyer Staff got a sweet treat from the third grade team today!

Boyer second graders wrapped up their Social Studies unit with a lesson in the library using The Giant Map of Texas. They had fun working in partners on a scavenger hunt using their map skills!

The Boyer Choir did a great job singing in the Prosper Christmas Festival this weekend. Thank you Mrs. Sigmund for leading such a amazing performance!
