Coach Terreneé Knight (pronounced Tair-a-nay) graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies where she was a 4-year member of the track and field program. She also holds a Masters of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix and principal certification from Lamar University. Coach Knight's teaching and coaching journey began in 2009 with her being a head cross country/track and field coach and athletic administrator since 2012. In addition to serving Walnut Grove HS coaches and athletes, Coach Knight also serves as a captain for the Texas High School Coaches Association ROCK Mentor Program, THSCA Track and Field Super Elite Team Committee member, and the Coaches and Athletic Directors’ Alliance Committee. She has also been selected as a featured
graduate for Southwestern University’s “18 under 40” for the Class of 2023. Coach Knight believes that hard work, commitment, and paying it forward are the cornerstone of being a great coach, teacher, leader and member of the community. She is a proud mom and loves spending weekends with her family.

Coach Jon Torres is in his 5th year of coaching and teaching. This is his first year in Prosper ISD; he has previously coached at Gainesville ISD and Richardson High School. Coach Torres has a love for helping young people achieve their goals. He has been married to wife Kathy for 5 years and they have 2 cats - Callie & Ivy.
