Tim O'Brien

Coach Tim O'Brien is excited to be joining the Walnut Grove Family as the Head Softball Coach. Coach O'Brien began teaching and coaching in Washington State, but moved south to be closer to family. He coached High School softball in Weatherford before moving to Frisco to become the Head Coach at Frisco Heritage where he has been for the last 7 years. Coach O'Brien also coaches select ball and most recently began coaching the 16U National Team for Glory Adkins. 

Prior to becoming a teacher and coach, Coach O'Brien served as a member of the United States Army for 8 years as a medic. He is married to his high school sweetheart and they are excited to have this opportunity and looking forward to working with the great athletes at Walnut Grove.

Hannah Cooper

Coach Cooper is entering her 4th year of teaching and coaching after graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in History. She played collegiate softball at North Central Texas College and Texas A&M University-Texarkana. She has previously coached at Texarkana Pleasant Grove and Lebanon Trail (Frisco). She is excited to enter her first year at Walnut Grove and have a positive impact on the athletes and students. Go cats!

David Wright

This is Coach Wright's third year in Prosper ISD, he came over from Prosper High school where he taught the previous two years and coached volleyball and softball. He was born and raised in Texas, and graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton. Coach Wright loves coaching most because of the relationships he has the opportunity to build with his student athletes everyday. 

Coach Wright is married to his amazing wife, who is also a teacher and coach within Prosper ISD. They have two young children, who are their entire world. They love bringing their kids to all of PISDs extracurricular and community events, supporting their teams, schools and community they live in.
