Our annual Fall Festival was so much fun. Thank you to everyone who participated, to PTO for organizing, and to all of our families who came to school on a Friday night to connect with our Folsom community!

Glimpses from our week: Mrs. Stephens won a PEF grant🎉, students worked together to achieve math challenges in 4th grade, recess for the House of Respect, lots of engagement during 2nd grade ELAR, kindness throughout campus, and wise words from students for Dyslexia Awareness!

Our teachers work together to design instruction for ALL students. Here are 3rd graders in flexible groups created by the team utilizing recent data. They are maximizing the teaching strengths of their entire grade level to intervene and enrich!

Parents, the amount of fentanyl it takes to overdose is equivalent to a few grains of salt. Talk with your kids early and often about the dangers of fentanyl and counterfeit fentanyl-laced pills.

Congratulations to our October Folsom Star Polishers - Mrs. Spera and Coach Doc! We are so proud of you and thankful for the mountains you move for our students.

Excellent instruction every day - students working together to explain and write about concepts, teachers using inquiry and questioning (and fun!) to maintain engagement, and lots of opportunities for students to get feedback from teachers.

Phonemic awareness (the ability to identify and manipulate sounds in words) in action today in K/1! Our learners practice daily and break up words into sounds, blend sounds to make words, add and delete sounds, and more. The transfer into their writing is incredible to see.
