This month, we come together to shine a light on a critical issue: fentanyl poisoning. Fentanyl is a potent synthetic opioid that has taken far too many lives. But together, we can make a difference.

We ended last week with HoCo spirit, lots of student discourse in 2nd grade while writing with partners and sharing in circles, high engagement in 5th grade science learning circuits, and the announcement of the House of Respect winning our first house prize of the year!! 💜

Coaches Chacchia, Monty, and Doc work hard to teach PE Standards and skills such as cooperation and sportsmanship.Fifth graders demonstrated what they have learned during "All Game day". I saw many examples of incredible character and engagement while they played LOTS of games!

Today our new to Folsom/PISD teachers had the opportunity to do learning walks in the rooms of other teachers. We saw lots of engagement and authentic tasks. We learn from being able to see each other in action and everyone has strengths to share. We truly are better together.
