Fourth-grade students recently participated in a Place Value BreakoutEDU activity in the library. Using their knowledge of place value, they worked together to solve challenges and unlock a series of locks. The ultimate goal? To successfully open all the locks on the box and complete the breakout!

Congratulations to our September/October Star Polishers! We are so proud of Mrs. Dorsey, Coach Pendergrass, and Ms. Wylie. Thank you for all you to to serve students, staff, and families at Smothermon Elementary.

🌟 Before the first bell rings and long after the last student leaves, our custodial team creates the clean, welcoming spaces where learning happens. Today on National Custodian Day, we celebrate our incredible custodial team for the essential role they play in our schools and thank them for their dedication to our staff, students, and community! 💙
