Coach Blackburn is in his first year at Prosper High School after arriving from Frisco Heritage
High School where he coached the men’s soccer team for 4 years, including leading the
program to its best season in program history in 2023. Blackburn's career also includes 4 years
as the varsity assistant coach at Coppell High School, during which the program made two state
tournament appearances and won the state championship in 2015.

Coach Blackburn enjoys high school coaching because it provides him an opportunity to use his
knowledge, experience, and passion for the game to help foster athletic, character, and
leadership development in young men.

Coach Blackburn is a resident of Plano, Texas where he lives with his wife Jessica, and his 3
children Leo, Logan, and Emily. In his time away from the field, Coach Blackburn is an avid
runner and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
