2023-24 Student Athletic Trainers

  • Kayla Blessing is a senior at Rock Hill. She was a trainer for wrestling as they made it to the State Tournament (2022). After high school, she plans to attend either the University of Pittsburgh or the University of Kansas to study athletic training or physical therapy.

    Lilly Bruce is a senior in her 4th year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program, and her 3rd year as a trainer. She is unique, as she is the first, and only student to complete all four years in the program. She was the girls softball trainer when they went to the State Tournament (2021) and she worked boys soccer (2022). After high school she plans to attend college to become an athletic trainer and then continue on to become a Sports Orthopedic Surgeon.

    Chloe Collison is a senior in her 2nd year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program and 1st year of being a varsity trainer. She worked with the baseball team in the Spring of 2022. After high school she wants to become a realtor and major in Business. 

    Michael A. Duffy is a senior in his first year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program and his 3rd year volunteering at varsity football games. He ran cross country during his freshman and sophomore years and was the JV captain. This will be his fifth year participating in engineering. His engineering team made it to the world championship last season and hopes to make it to worlds again this year. He is currently working towards his Eagle Scout rank. After graduating, Michael is planning on studying biomedical engineering in college. He hopes to one day travel the world and learn about other cultures and ways of life. 

    Abby Gutierrez is a senior in her 2nd year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program and her 1st year as a varsity trainer. She worked with girl’s basketball in 2022 and looks forward to reuniting with the girls for her second season this year. After high school she plans to start her studies in dental hygiene and to fill her life with all things that make her the happiest.

    Sara Hamed is a senior in her 3rd year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program and her 1st year as a varsity trainer. She has worked with boys basketball and football, as well as helped with baseball and track. After high school she wants to continue in the medical field in college and as a career.

    Kayla Harvey is a senior in her 3rd year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program. During her three years she has worked with both JV and varsity football, as well as girls soccer and track & field. After high school Kayla plans on going to college and starting her career.

    Bella Quiroz is a senior in her 2nd year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program and her 1st year as a varsity trainer. She also worked with softball for one year. After high school she wants to be an athletic trainer and plans on working wherever the future will bring her.

    Vanessa Sherpa is a senior in her 3rd year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program. She has worked with football for two years, and this is her first year working varsity full-time. She has also worked with baseball during the 2022-2023 season. After high school she plans on going to college on a pre med track to hopefully become a gastrointestinal surgeon.

    Jaelynn Suggs is a senior in the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program and in her 1st year with varsity football full-time. She is also in her 3rd year working as a manager for the Track team. Jaelynn is also a part of the BSU program. After high school she plans to major in Sports Medicine at Texas Southern University.

    Jacie Todjo is a senior in her 3rd year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program. She’s volunteered to be a trainer for football, volleyball, track, basketball and extended time with girls soccer. Her plan for after high school is to attend college and study to become an anesthesiologist. 

    Mariah Boyce is a sophomore in her first year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program. She  works with freshmen and JV football. She is also interested in working with the basketball and soccer programs. After high school she plans to go to college and pursue a career in the medical field. 

    Danelly Gonzalez is a sophomore in her first year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program. She works with both freshman and JV football, and looks forward to working with other sports programs. After high school she plans to pursue Athletic Training.

    Audrey Hanks is a junior in her first year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program. She is currently on the volleyball team and is excited to join Sports Medicine once her season is over to work with upcoming sports throughout the year. After high school she plans on being a physical therapist or an athletic trainer.

    Zoya Malik is a sophomore in her first year with the Rock Hill Sports Medicine program. She works with the JV football program, and looks forward to the other sports she will assist. After high school she plans to pursue a career in the medical field.

    Caroline Riggs is a sophomore in her second year with the Sports Medicine program, but her first year as a student trainer. She is excited to work with football and the sports to come this year. After she graduates high school she would like to have a career in the medical field.
