I have over 25 years of collegiate, club and high school coaching experience. Six years have been spent at Prosper ISD and the last four as the Head Coach at Rock Hill. I fell in love with coaching my junior year of college when I coached for a local club team and haven’t stopped coaching since then. Once I completed my playing career at Southeastern Louisiana University, I stayed on for one year as a graduate assistant coach where I  learned the ins and outs of coaching and player development. From there, I continued my coaching career at Jacksonville State University in Alabama, but I wanted to have a greater impact on young athletes, so I moved back home to start my high school coaching career. In my first two years of coaching at Dominican High School,  I was lucky enough to lead the team to the 5A state finals and the state semi- finals in back to back years.  I then moved to Texas where I have been coaching for the last 21 years and have been a part of 14 playoff appearances and 4 district championships.   

When I am not in the gym coaching, you can find me working out with friends or taking my dog, Miles, on walks.

I am entering my 14th year in education as a teacher and coach. This is my 4th year at Rock Hill High School. My husband also works at Rock Hill and we have 3 children. 

My name is Madison Holyfield and I am starting my 2nd year at Rock Hill and my 6th year of teaching/coaching! I spent 2 years as the Head Girls Soccer Coach at Center ISD, 2 years as the Head Girls Soccer and Head Volleyball Coach at Center ISD, and then spent 1 year (last year) as the Freshmen A Volleyball and JV Girls Soccer Coach here at Rock Hill. I have a large family of 8 who I am incredibly close with which has made me super family oriented. I also have a long term boyfriend of 8 years who is my high school sweetheart and my best supporter. I loved my first year at Rock Hill and am looking forward to another great year of improvement, growth, connections, and success!!

My name is Justice Walker and I will be teaching World Geography and coaching JV Volleyball and assisting with Track and Field. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University where I also played Volleyball from 2013-2017.  This will be my sixth year teaching and coaching and first year at Rock Hill. I am transitioning up from Middle school in Carrollton Farmers-Branch ISD.My husband Derrick and I have a sweet two year old baby boy and are beyond excited to be joining the Prosper district.

Hello Rock Hill nation!! My name is Alexander Zhu, and I'm starting my 9th year in education and 2nd year at Rock Hill. I am a former graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and you will catch me throughout the country watching the Longhorns play. I will be teaching Algebra 2 and SAT Test Prep this year along with coaching the freshman B volleyball team, helping out the varsity volleyball team, volleyball social media director, and the shot and discus coach for the girls track team. I absolutely love the community of Rock Hill and our students and I am always trying to embody our core values in making sure every student is "seen,heard, and loved". I make a point of attending as many events in the community and events of my students to support them each and every day. You will see me at pep rallies performing and in all the staff pep rally games to show students the side of me that is a child at heart. I am so excited for this upcoming athletic season, and I know all of our programs will continue to grow and prosper as we seek new heights in 6A.Lastly,  "once a blue hawk, always a blue hawk."
