Visual Art

  • District of Distinction Badge

The Visual Art programs in Prosper ISD are consistently recognized on a state and national level, and boast award-winning student drawings, paintings, sculpture, and digital works. In 2023, Prosper ISD was named a District of Distinction by the Texas Art Education Association for the fourth consecutive year, which is a status shared by less than one percent of school districts across the state of Texas. Prosper ISD Visual Art programs enjoy consistent success at the Youth Art Month Governer's Awards and at the National Art Education Association Juried Art shows, and its student works are repeatedly recipients of Gold Seal status, the highest honor awarded in the state of Texas.
