    Choose Kindness...

    Hall of Honor Inaugural Class

Hope Squad organized "Be Kind" yellow T-Shirts as a symbol to simply be kind to one another, which is why you often see yellow shirts scattered throughout our district on the first Wednesday of each month. This stems from supporting the cause of suicide awareness and prevention.

We are going to take this a step further. Children's Health Stadium will be lit up yellow every Wednesday evening as a simple reminder for our community to exercise kindness. So, if you find yourself driving around Prosper any Wednesday evening, run by the stadium to enjoy PISD's symbol for kindness.

    We are Prosper!

    Color Guard
PISD Middle School Color Guard Begins Rehearsals
    January 29th

Who can participate? All Hays, Reynolds, and Rogers Students.

What is Color Guard? We’re the section in the marching band who dance and spins flags, rifles and sabres.

Where will rehearsals be held? We will have a sectional at each middle school, and then several rehearsals at PHS.

When will these sectionals & rehearsals occur?
Wed, January 29th: Hays MS Practice Gym, 3:25 - 4:30
Wed, February 5th: Reynolds MS Small Gym, 3:25 - 4:30
    Wed, February 12th: Rogers MS Cafeteria, 3:25 - 4:30
    Wed, February, 19th: PHS, 4:30 - 6:00
    Wed, February 26th: PHS, 4:30 - 6:00
    Wed, March 4th: PHS, 4:30 - 6:00
    Wed, March 18th: PHS, 4:30 - 6:00
    Wed, March 25th: PHS, 4:30 - 6:00
Fri, March 27th: PHS Arena, Parent Performance, 7:00

Why should you do middle school color guard? If you’re interested in trying out for the Prosper Guard or the Rock Hill Color Guard, then these rehearsal clinics will teach you some of the fundamentals of color guard.

How do I do color guard? Do I need to have prior experience? Most color guard members learn how to spin a flag and dance by coming to rehearsal and learning with our awesome teachers and staff members. It takes a little bit of patience and a lot of practice, but you can learn how to toss a flag in no-time, all you have to do is try!
