This instructional setting provides specially designed instruction to students with mild to moderate cognitive impairments who also demonstrate deficits in adaptive behaviors related to their ability to apply social and practical skills across life domains.  These students access the general education curriculum through modifications at a prerequisite level.  Instruction is provided in both small group and individual settings and is focused primarily on developing academic, social, and functional skills.
