Social and Emotional Teaching (SET)

  • This instructional setting provides a highly structured and specialized learning environment for students with significant communication, social, and behavioral needs. This program is designed to support students who require intensive social skills instruction related to peer interactions, emotional regulation, and expected school and community behaviors.  As skill development progresses, students have increasing opportunities to access the general education setting in order to reinforce the generalization of acquired skills across settings and to promote their social and behavioral independence.
